One of the Foundation’s core objectives is to support young talents in completing their musical education by offering them the opportunity to perform with a professional orchestra. Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to outstanding students with exceptional artistic potential.

This year’s selected recipient is Michelle Carreño, born in Venezuela, currently residing in Medellín, and a member of the Iberacademy Young Talents Program (Colombia). https://iberacademy.org

Thanks to this scholarship, Michelle will be able to cover her stay in Spain and further her professional development under the personal mentorship of our orchestra’s concertmaster, Paloma Pierzchala Bentabol, at the Castilla-La Mancha Higher Conservatory of Music. https://csmclm.com

She will also enhance her training by participating in masterclasses led by some of the most prominent violinists on both the national and international stages.
